My Summer Concert Line-Up

As summer approaches, the weather becomes perfect for concerts and festivals. Here are a list of some of the concerts I plan on attending:

To start off my summer, I plan on going to Chicago to see my all time favorite Alternative: Dave Matthews. Normally Dave goes to Klipsch in Noblesville, however this year he decided to not go on such a long tour. He is only going to be having eighteen concerts in the United States during 2017; compared to the forty-six he had in 2016. His concert may not be “on the corner of grey street and the end of the world,” but it will be in Chicago and I will be attending June 10.

For the rest of the summer, I plan on staying in Indiana and attending Klipsch.

On Saturday, June 24 I plan on surprising a friend with tickets to Florida Georgia Line featuring Nelly. I personally do not prefer country, however I am willing to compromise.

The following week, on June 29, I plan on attending the Play That Song Tour featuring Train, O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield. Although there are three different performers attending, there will be a, “pocketful of sunshine,” at the concert. Most of the performers attending are throwbacks, but the saying will always remain, “an oldie but a goodie.”

Shortly following I will be returning to Klipsch to attend Third Eye Blind on July 9. Third Eye Blind will be celebrating twenty years in the blind during 2017. They did not tour last year, but this year they have a major list of places they will be going.

To close off the summer right before I go to college, I will be seeing Green Day. The concert is August 16 at 7; I will be cramped for time due to the fact I will be moving into college the on the 18. Green Day is the pop group behind “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

In the very early winter I plan on going to Bankers Life Fieldhouse to attend the most recent Super Bowl halftime show performer: Lady Gaga. Gaga has been a favorite of mine since I was in elementary school. My brother introduced me to her music, immediately I downloaded every song of hers. Now I am finally able to see “Mother Monster” in person.

However, everyone has a different outlook on music and concerts. You can usually always find something of your interest playing live. There are websites you can visit that have listings of performances playing near your area. To checkout more personalized choices, look at either Ticketmaster.com or Vivid Seats.com.
