Dear Mrs. Leibold, 

I appreciate you so much and I’m so glad I got the chance to be in your English class this year. I wish we got the chance to get closer. I appreciate all the help you gave me with starting my senior project early, all the help you offered me when I was stressed, and making me feel like I can come to you with anything. 

Your class was fun and you came up with fun activities to keep us interactive. I love that you play/sing old R&B music in the classroom, I feel like many students feel comfortable enough in your classroom to just jam out while doing work. 

One thing unique about you and your classroom is how when we leave you say “peace out, love you, have a good day.” I’m going to miss your jokes, making you laugh, and the silence of our class when you ask a question. I appreciate how you shared deep parts of your life with us because it made me want to know more. I’m going to miss seeing you in the halls and being goofy, but I will see you next year. Thank you for everything this year, and thanks for being an even better teacher.
