East sends off eight wrestlers to State

First round begins tonight in Indianapolis

Eight Columbus East wrestlers will start their journey to the state finals tonight at 6 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Cayden Rooks (126), Graham Rooks (132), Dawson Combest (138), Jake Schoenegge (145), Corban Pollitt (152), Nick South (160), Andy Davidson (170) and Jacob Bolte (220) advanced after finishing in the top four at last week’s semi-state.

With a win tonight, they advance to Saturday’s quarterfinals, which begin at 9 a.m.
