Gymnastics vs. North

The on-going North-East rivalry calls for heated competition here in Columbus, IN.  As gymnasts awaited their events the anxiety of competing the cross-town team became daunting. Many gymnasts were able to compete in this meet, including 3 of the 4 seniors. With this being the last home meet awaiting Sectionals, seniors were recognized with banners and posters lining the hallway outside of the gymnastics area. All events were participated in, and girls from each year (freshman-senior) competed in an attempt to win against girls who weren’t so unfamiliar to them, that being the Bulldogs.

Though the Olympians fought hard, scoring high 8’s on multiple events, they were not able to secure a win against the Bulldogs. With North finishing with 109.3, and East close behind them with 100.2, this ended this year’s cross-town meet.
