On Friday night, February 24, fans and gymnasts from 11 surrounding schools came to Columbus East for the 45th annual IHSAA Columbus East Sectional gymnastics meet. The Olympians advance to regionals with a third-place title and a score of 108.100. Regionals will take place on March 3 at 7 p.m. at home in the main gym.

Individually, Seena Greiwe took 6th all-around with a 36.375 and Taylor Gaskill took 7th all-around with a 36.275. Additionally, Adi Minor took 1st on bars with a 9.725, Gaskill took 6th on bars with a 9.200, Greiwe took 7th on bars with a 9.057, Taylor Gaskill tied for 7th on floor with a score of 9.125 and Greiwe took 5th on beam with a 9.150.

Columbus North took 1st place with a team score of 111.875 and Bloomington South took 2nd place with a team score of 110.575.
