What has been your favorite part about being an Olympian?

“My favorite part about being an Olympian has been the atmosphere and the people. All of the students and faculty have made my high school experience enjoyable and worthwhile.”

What is your favorite memory from East?

“My favorite memory was being “The Rose” in the Beauty and the Beast musical my sophomore year. Being able to be the lead dance role was such a great opportunity, and it allowed me to showcase my love for dance to my friends.”

Is there any teacher or coach that has made an impact on your life?

“My Year 1 Vet teacher, Mrs. Kramb, has made the most impact on my life. She focused on building a relationship with her students, and I felt that I could go to her with any issue.”

What class would you recommend for other students to take?

“I would definitely recommend taking a C4 class! My C4 classes have opened so many opportunities for me and have led me to join FFA and become a C4 ambassador. Being able to shadow a vet clinic through C4 has helped me to gain hours needed for veterinary school.”

What are your future plans?

“I plan to attend Purdue University and major in Animal Sciences (with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine), followed by veterinary school.”

What are you most looking forward to in your future?

“I definitely look forward to furthering my education at Purdue (while meeting new friends and professors along the way) and preparing for a career as a veterinarian.”
