On Saturday, the East wrestling team traveled to Evansville for semi-state. eight wrestlers competed at the meet, with five advancing to state this next weekend. Freshman Joey Gordon, Junior Andy Davidson, and Senior Austin Sheckles fell short of advancing. Cayden Rooks, Graham Rooks, and Dawson Combest all won their divisions. Sophomore Jake Schoennege got second while junior Corban Pollitt placed third. top four places in each division advanced. The five wrestlers will wrestle Friday and Saturday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Check out the action above.
