Champions League Predictions
February 13, 2018
As time progresses, people are patiently wondering which two teams are gonna make it to the Champions League final. As of right now there are only 16 teams competing against each other in hopes of being able to hold that beautiful trophy.
The top contenders of the tournament are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich, with Barcelona being the most likely to win the Champions league by having a brilliant season. However, Real Madrid are a close second even though they have had a disappointing season in La Liga.
Manchester City and Bayern Munich are the two teams who could pull an upset and get to the final but ultimately, it is expected that Barcelona also known as the “Catalonians” face off with “Los Blancos” of Real Madrid.
As for the other clubs, Juventus, Manchester United, Tottenham Spurs, and Chelsea have potential to win or do well in the final matches of the tournament. Juventus and Tottenham are already set to play each other in the round of 16, but Juventus seems to have the upperhand by being set in second in the Serie A with just 1 point behind the first place team.
Manchester United is also one of the teams we are likely to see in the finals rounds. They may be behind the “Citizens” of Manchester City in second place by 13 points, but they have proved to be a formidable team with great players. However, getting them to play world class football is still one of their biggest obstacles.
Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Roma, Sevilla are the teams that deserve to be there but still need improvement to give world class clubs competition. Paris and Liverpool have the same problem as Manchester United, they have great players but still don’t have success in creating chemistry between them.
Roma and Sevilla both have a lot of potential in making a great team but as for the tournament, they just don’t have what it takes to make it far. In the round of 16 it’s very likely that Sevilla won’t be making it out and Roma packing their bags in the knockout stage.
Finally, we have Porto, FC Basel, Beşiktaş, and Shakhtar Donetsk who truth be told, don’t have the best chances in the Champions league. However, they are top teams in their respective leagues. It will take everything they have if they plan to make it at least out of the round of 16.

PSG is going to beat Madrid, they suck. City’s back line isn’t good enough to beat world class players, and Barcelona won’t take it.
