With winter formal right around the corner excitement is buzzing in the air, however there are a few items to remember before leaving to rock the night away on the dancefloor.

Basic Information

East’s annual Winter Formal for 2017 will be held at Southside Elementary School from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday December 16. Tickets will be sold at the bookstore up until December 15 for $7 and at the door for $9. In order to purchase tickets student identification is required.

Dates/Friends from Other Schools

Inviting people from another high school is allowed. If you are planning on inviting friends or a date that attends North or CSA, however, make sure to have student IDs ready when buying tickets.  

Dress Code

Formal attire is required to be admitted into the dance. While dressing completely to the nines is not completely necessary, jeans and a t-shirt are not going to cut it either. Also, modesty is the best policy for this event.

Personal Belongings

If you have personal items, such as a jacket or wallet, that need to be secured for the night, no worries. There will be a service to keep belongings safe and sound until formal ends.

Photo Opportunities

A photographer will be in a designated area at Southside to take photos throughout the evening.

Food/Snacks

Light snack foods will be provided in the cafeteria for students.
