The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Everyone knows “The Legend Of Zelda” right? The brave princess that needs to be saved by her warrior, Link. This game has the same storyline as Mario. You play as the boy who is saving his princess. It’s cliché, but nonetheless very interactive with an amazingly detailed storyline that could possibly make you emotional. As you play you feel as though you have escaped and entered the troubled kingdom of Hyrule. Besides the storyline, what makes this game so amazing?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” was released March 3,2017; I know I’m late to the review game but bare with me. Because it is now 2020, the game is only 40 dollars, but when it was first released it was 60 dollars. This is a pretty average price for Nintendo switch games, and of course the price goes down the older they get. I would say it’s a fine price for the game considering it has a lot of hours built into it. If you only want to beat the storyline then you have 60 hours of playing time. But if you really love the game and totally want to conquer it, then it is 120 hours. I will touch more on everything you can do in the game later.

The storyline is basically just four divine beasts and then Ganon which is the main boss. You can technically go ahead and try to beat Ganon, but if you beat the four divine beasts then Ganon will be weaker when you get to him. Each of the divine beasts are in different cities that have different people in them. These people help you get to the beasts so you can beat them. Besides the basics of the storyline, there is so much more to the game. There are shrines that are like little puzzles you can beat that help you teleport, dragons that you can steal scales from if you hit them with an arrow, an enchanted foggy forest that has a powerful weapon in the middle of it, and so much more.

So far I have put in 55 hours into “Breath of The Wild” and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good story line with an open world you can explore. The game is loved by many switch players, and “Zelda” fanatics adore it. If you’re looking for a new game to waste many quarantined hours on, “Breath of The Wild” is on Amazon.
