Since Monday, Feb 5, 2024, nations have been put on edge with the King of England’s recent diagnosis of cancer. The public has been given little information. We do not know what stage of cancer, the treatment options, or what specific type of cancer.

King Charles III has gained much public support, with large portions sympathizing with his situation. He has taken a step back from most of his responsibilities seen by the public, but King Charles is continuing to work from behind the scenes on official state business and paperwork.

This is the season of sickness for the royal family. King Charles’ daughter-in-law Catherine, the Princess of Wales, was recently released from a 13-day hospital visit where she was being treated for an unknown abdominal surgery.

The palace announced on January 17 that the king would be undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate. On the 27th he was checked into the London Clinic in Marylebone. He stayed for three days until a week later they found the cancer and made it public, so he started undergoing “regular treatment.”

Although the King’s health is currently well, the future is uncertain for the Royal Palace. King Charles is determined to get through this disease and continue his duties for the Royal Palace. When Prince Harry was made aware of the King’s condition, he returned to England from Los Angeles, where he sparked a new predicament for the King. King Charles has to decide on whether or not to let Prince Harry back into the Royal Family.

Even if Prince Harry and King Charles do not agree on the duties being split off, and which responsibilities go to whom, they are both in agreement that they are going to try and repair their broken relationship.
