The Hunger Games is an 11 year old saga that has just been released on Netflix. Since the saga was introduced to the world 11 years ago, the question of why Netflix has only now aired the movies arises. It has been uncovered that one of the reasons Netflix decided to release it onto their platform was due to the 11th Anniversary of the film and the announcement of the prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.  

The new film is set to be released in theaters on November 17, 2023, thus the “teaser” that Netflix provided. Although there is knowledge of the film being produced, nobody truly knows about the film as there has been no trailers or teasers for the movie. Even the actors that partake in the film do not know the full truth of this film. 

“The fact that the film’s cast remained shrouded in mystery, even though it was already in production,” according to Vogue.  

As the film has become a mystery to the public, suspicions of the plot of the movie have been uncovered even though the truth is still unknown. 

“The film will follow a young Coriolanus Snow, the future president of Panem, as he mentors a tribute for the 10th Hunger Games—a tournament which paves the way for his tyrannical reign,” according to Vogue.
