Student Assembly Yoga Week

Andy Davidson, Writer

Student Assembly is hosting a multitude of stress relief opportunities this week that includes optional yoga for all students who wish to participate.

The yoga sessions will take place in the auxiliary gym during Mods 1 through 5A on Wednesday and Mods 5B through 8 on Friday.

All students are invited to participate during their resource or lunch mods. There will be yoga mats available for use, but it is suggested that you bring your own if you have one in order to ensure that all students who wish to participate will be able to do so.

According to Mr. Taube, Student Assembly sponsor and East guidance counselor, this event is being held due to the increase in stress caused by finals as the school year winds down.

The yoga teachers for each session are coming from Uptown Yoga here in Columbus and are all volunteering their time to teach the sessions.

If you want to learn more about Uptown Yoga you can find out more information on their instagram @uptownyogacolumbus or on their website at http://uptownyogacolumbus.com/.
