Columbus, Indiana has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. As the city of Columbus grows, new restaurants are built.
So far, in 2023, only one new restaurant opened in Columbus, on 25th St, Le Fernández Café. Le Fernández Café is a family-owned, independent coffee shop. They serve from American to Latino platters, including crepes, paninis, burgers, pasta, quesadillas and much more. They also serve many beverages like smoothies, boba tea, frappuccinos, coffee and more. Le Fernández Café offers dine-in, pickup and delivery to get their food.
In 2022, many new restaurants were built, including two pretty popular places, Sonic and Jaggers. While both restaurants have very different concepts, they are still equally popular.
Sonic, located on National Rd, opened in the Summer of 2022 and is a fast-food restaurant. Still, something makes it different from any other restaurant found in Columbus. While Sonic does have a drive-through option, it does not have a dine-in area. Instead of dining in at Sonic, it is a drive-in restaurant. You just pull your car into one of the spots, order your food, and the staff brings it out to you. Sonic is widely known for its customizable drinks and slushies with many add-ins. They offer a variety of entrees, including burgers, chicken, hot dogs and other sandwiches.
While Jaggers doesn’t have the same exciting concept as Sonic, it is still popular throughout the Columbus community.
Jaggers is a dine-in and drive-through fast food restaurant on Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus. Jaggers is widely known for their Jagger’s sauce. Their menu includes burgers, chicken, sandwiches, salads and more. Many of their entrees come with the option to include their famous Jagger’s sauce, along with other sauces.
While only a few restaurants have been opened recently, as the community grows, even more restaurants will open.
